  1. So I got anvil at Canadian version of HF. It is 110lbs anvil. I got it on sale for just 80US while regular is like 240US. It has a nice rebound and its face is quite hard. It is made of cast steel on Italian pattern. Highly recommended. It is much, much better then the scrap stuff from HF.

  2. Still not much of in the rebound department - and you can just weld right on it - do a surface weld with a rod meant for hardening surfaces.
