  1. To me, it’s never been to do with a Catholic effigy being burned on a bonfire, in fact as a child, I just felt an inner horror of seeing a guy being burned… the bonfire was ok though…just an instinctive feeling. Also, we can still learn about Guy Fawkes, without loud bangers!
