  3. Ginger Hadley it’s not good to eat these animals. You’re crossing infection so that it goes from animal to human, then the strain of the virus strengthens! Not something us humans should be doing!

  7. lostinmuzak The Chinese government should make the selling and purchasing of wild animals like bats, snakes and rats for public food from these unhygienic markets illegal. More education is needed so that the Chinese people understand that it is totally unnecessary and unhealthy to eat these creatures. They were never meant to be eaten and vira living in their system can be passed on to humans . Vira are very clever (a doctor friend calls them “the master race,”!) and they can mutate and cause havoc in humans and at the moment, we do not know very much about this particular one. It is a shame that China did not take steps to thwart the spread of this when it first appeared last month, but at least they are serious about it now. But sadly, the horse has now bolted so hopefully the WHO will keep it under intense scrutiny!

  8. resplendenxy how long ago was this? Many years ago in England we used to gather in the village square to watch all manner of torture and beheading, it was our culture and earlier still, we lived in caves, but we’ve moved on....
