Post war...I was just a baby....i don’t remember much but it was tough for my parents and grandparents...but we stood together...they worked very hard...No it wasn’t anything to do with Europe...we had a lot of money to pay back to America. It was tough...we lived according to our means...an NHS for the BRITISH people...then the south bank centre....music and art....the rebirth of hope and old fashioned values. I’m sorry to say this, but our country is too full...too many people draining our economy and sadly a lack of pride in our Britishness.
