  1. My answer be would the financial consequences. If the courts say split everything - ok, I can understand that. But how do you lose more than half - especially when you brought more than half to the marriage ? Then there is the issue of alimony. If I am no longer married to this person and this person initiated the divorce and was at fault why I am supporting them, sometimes for the long term ?
