  1.  @fsdds1488  predators like dogs and cats are much smarter and thus "closer" to people than prey animals, which share less empathy as they are more reactive than interactive. Why? On land, eyes in front provide constant math analysis, complex distance to target, etc, high level thinking.. and prey simply broaden focus and flee stimuli using side mounted eyes with more field of view. Argued that rise in intellect means relative decline in justifiability as a food source, morally reasoned, rather than by aesthetic standards etc, I never eat octopus, dolphin, dogs, wolves bears rats mice and cats
