The Swiss have long distance tons of shooting clubs and a mandatory military training.. no Russian I know has ever shown interest xcountry or knows anyone that does.. biathalon medal nations of northern Europe would tear up an occupying force guerrilla style, maybe all year long..

@ChristianThePagan German culture of engineering, precision and maintenence produced the best equipment.. guns tanks, artillery, boots.. culture of urban dwellers building Benz's and BMWs before the war, culture of education in chemistry without peer produced 'go pills' of meth and painkillers that weren't straight morphine.. urban folk can change it up and kick arse if culture and cause are aligned.. propaganda and crippling economic attacks come to mind.. And that's why all the 'dual use' technologies China has begged borrowed and stolen have me concerned, in as much as they openly praise Germany of the 1930s, and speak of emulating its rise.
