Dumb, 95% of indigenous deaths in north and south America from diseases no one understood, and well before ever even seeing a European if even hearing of them. Spain Portugal figured it was simply God helping, having kicked the Muslims out of Iberia THE SAME YEAR they discovered the new world, using navigation tools the Arabs left behind as they fled. All seemed a gift from God as so many enormous churches built in the Americas 500 years ago implies, but religious fanaticism's unexpected results do not compare at all to empathy-free narcissistic self gratification based evil policies, all selfishly designed for empowering further debauchery of himself and close friends.
