I loved NPR until 2012 or so, it became overwhelmingly one sided from simply being slightly left..

@CaillouThePimp the value of the company used to be its reputation, in journalism, so the most successful were also the least partisan.. now it has changed to incentivizing emotionally charged viewership, sadly

@FrankieCarloSantana I was "slightly left" my whole life until told my high school-to-today environmentalism does not outweigh the transgressions of other people's ancestors, with a weekly, sometimes daily reminder paid for with tax dollars that could pursue scientific advancements instead, in my opinion.. I already told reps to protect it several times in my life and no longer feel inclined☹️

@FrankieCarloSantana add undermining the soft power previous generations spent in lives and treasure, hoping to preserve their ideals in the face of overwhelming tyrannical forces, by their seemingly deliberate shift into more bay jeeng friendly narratives, all using the public purse. ie where was their reporting when coral reefs were destroyed in the Philippines to build long-range air asset landing strips and offensive facilities on treaty ally territory, with no response from NPR or Greenpeace etc (and personally orchestrated by then VP bumbling bran don in return for cash his kid was there to embrace), where was their unbiased reporting when it counted, when all allies and the dollar began doubting our corruptoid leadership and its seeming mouthpiece?? the discrepancy widened unacceptably during this time, for obvious reason😞
