  1. 7:22 - our 85' Mercedes 500 SEC has the same seat belt extender.. I think it debuted in 80' or 81' And our 94' E500 has rear headrest drop button.. I think some of these ideas are 50 years old.

  3. I thought the 560 SEC was more expensive? AMG was around making insane Mercedes rides but they weren't yet owned by Mercedes. Stereo fader dial was in same place in 1975 Mercedes S-class as well.. Mercedes was first production car with airbag system (80' or 81'). The headlight wipers were for ice and snow, below freezing they operate and helped out when in the mountains in storms (verified by me multiple times). Faster when shifter is left in '3' where it engages first gear at low speed for better acceleration. Buzzing noise was only for US lawyers.. not present in other markets.

Ultrasonic parking sensors were debuted by Mercedes Benz in the 90s as a prequel to Pre-Collision, which would tightens seatbelts, close windows, sunroof, charge the airbags, and move the seats to the optimum position for a crash. Great BMW though, but the V12 was really just two inline sixes put together, so every time you needed to replace a pump etc, you had to do it twice.. kinda spendy. Had a 93' 750il in the 90s and loved it. It did go 150mph nicely..
