Dept of Education has overseen the worst drop in student testing performance in world history, why not start with a "clean slate"?

@jegca Baltimore's school system received $60,000 federal dollars per student average for a decade, and test scores plummeted.. Literally no graduate has math or reading comprehension. Explain that before justifying additional spending, please

@cicelywarrington363 "what type of support are the teachers getting.." OK, once again, $60k per student. That's twice the amount of support that any other teacher in the world gets, and on average, six times what most of the world pays for educating its youth, youth which then scores better than our students and takes their places in our higher education universities. Why? Useless administrators making $300k per year is one problem but that doesn't explain most of the discrepancies.

@cicelywarrington363 those are some very expensive books and pencils! My Princeton Review test prep book was $30, my books were $200, and pens were $15, but I suppose inflation does take a toll!

@cicelywarrington363 $240 is all I needed per year, for those supplies, including brand name test prep kit

@idkwhattohaveasausername5828 he absolutely did, founding the democratic party in the process, "farmer's wisdom" is another term he used to describe how voters should not be limited to a well educated class
