SU-57 is a joke, the "Checkmate" (😆) is hardly 5th gen, as it's much larger radar signature isn't competitive with others, it has exposed rivets and bolts, and it's only potential customer, India, backed out of purchasing them because they performed so badly. This morning in Ukraine, another Russian S300 was destroyed by a Mig using a HARM missile (F35 carries them in internal bays) So your economic mathematics needs a revisit as well..

@cb3609 every country that had evealuated the F35, even Germany, eventually wanted one.. and I trust the acquisition arm of the nordic countries, Switzerland etc, each with every option available, including outstanding domestic capability in Sweden's case, over your questionably informed opinions, because they want the best when facing Putinas threat vectors, and will not compromise to have it.

@district5198 those stats are impressive if we were fighting a 1990s war, but since we aren't.. show me a customer interested in buying your super special super SU, with yearly production capability of 2 (well, none with sanctions crippling logistics).
