  4.  @Caperkidd-qs8vq  Putin didn’t imprison him, the Courts did. As I remember, both Navalny and his brother were convicted of embezzlement (or something similar), but the reason why Navalny was in prison was because he broke his bail conditions on his original conviction. You can read up on it - it’s all fact.

  5. Even at the height of his popularity he only had about 2% support. The biggest rivals to the Unified Russia party have been, and are still, the Communist Party (17-21%) in previous elections, and the Liberal LDPR Party (7-12%), plus a string of other minor Parties who all have more support than Navalny.

  6.  @boobopish  Let’s call a spade a spade: Navalny was a Western backed, and funded, fifth columnist. His death and its timing definitely does not benefit Putin, but absolutely benefits the collective West.
