Nothing about the Ukraine conflict is by chance - it’s been in the western pipeline since the noughties for exactly the purposes of a) toppling the Russian government, b) getting our hands on their resources, and c) testing our military capabilities against theirs… It seems to me that we’ve failed on all three.

The highest amounts of any single country - an estimated 75 trillion $ (even more than China) - everything, including rare earth metals, precious metals and minerals, hydrocarbon and nuclear fuels… all the way to down to the largest body of fresh water in the world (lake Baikal).

@Keith Brighouse .. NB - the titanium used to construct the SR-71 Blackbird stealth bomber was obtained from Russia (via a lot of 3-red party back-door deals) because the quality of titanium elsewhere wasn’t good enough.

@Kleicomolo .. I don’t base my understanding of the world on a single-source documentary (and I’d advise anyone else to do the same). My outlook is based on years of observation and multiple sources of research and information. But thanks for your input.

@Keith Brighouse .. I’m sure most countries have more reserves of titanium the Ukraine… I wasn’t referring to Ukrainian reserves, I was talking about Russian reserves. Please read the comments more carefully.

@Keith Brighouse .. And it’s the QUALITY that was important - the US also has reserves of titanium but that also wasn’t good enough for the construction of the Blackbird.
