Unfortunately Britain buggers everything up because the politicians allow all of their friends to devour the budget in pointless consultations … I’d love to see what some of the expert consultations that cost in excess of £10M … “I agree with all of the governments recommendations, my fee is £999,999 cheap at half the price”… not bad for 1 minutes work….

As more and more greedy bastards dip their fat political fingers in the pot, on pointless consultations… the whole project gets cut back until it’s no longer feasible… in this case they just cut back all of the original specifications that were the prime goal, instead the capital gets the benefits once again.
