The one thing that people are forgetting here is that all this living off grid is that there is less and less going back into the country in terms of income tax (yes I know no one wants to pay taxes but…) so really what will happen when these people come to retire ? You can’t live all your life in a van and who will pick up the tab when you can’t afford to,look after yourself. Sorry I am not being a downer on this but we all can’t just do this. But saying that, who these days cares about such things except themselves ?
