Stephen is an absolute Gem I can relate so much to the things he says …. He is a real human being

My goodness this is so identifiable… I don’t know if Stephen considers the effects or to the fact that possibly he has ADHD but having it myself and also some element of Bipolar … to me it is starting to make sense and I wish Incould have a conversation with Stephen because I think he may have missed something but who am I to say … he’s a very clever man… but what I’m trying to say is, the bit about not wanting to press the button to end your depression or mania is what a lot of us ADHDers talk about and we say that we don’t want to lose our ADHD a because it’s who we are?

I have ADHD and when people are horrible to me it makes me so desperately sad and even the odd negative comment can result in my mood going down for a few days and along with that a whole load of physical and mental anxiety ….

Very interesting. The one thing that always jars me is when Stephen says there is no free will or greater thing than us… i disagree and after having been through some very difficult times were Christianity was used to condition me and control me… when I summoned the courage to walk away I discovered that nature started to speak to me in so many wonderful ways. I’d be out walking and see the changing seasons and getting to see all of the circles and cycles of nature and then slowly realising, I belonged…and here is the interesting thing, I would remember key phrases from the Bible and they would back up what Mother Nature had told me but in a non judgemental way. I could enjoy the wisdom of the works of the Bible (which if you read is full of experiences and advice in what happens when you do something, experience that says… “mate you really don’t want to do that…”. ) without being hounded by the doctrines that people of more recent times had made to shackle people in fear and control. So lots to,learn and I reckon that other religious works will hold similar wisdom. Life is a big fuck off journey

Hi Steve, not sure if anyone has mentioned this… sort of funny but with someone with ADHD I constantly keep looking at the lights on the wall and keep thinking about what they are covered in… is it a metal fixed shade or is it fabric.. I am constantly looking for symmetry in the pattern of the shades and can’t find any …. Sorry not meaning to be picky 😅
