Vanessa, I was thinking when you mentioned the ladybird, my thoughts went to bees 🐝 and you might maybe like this video (I hope it is ok to share a YouTube link here?). It’s a musical tale sharing the folklore that believes if you tell the beehive colony when the owner of the hives dies or a new heir is born, then the colony will go on. If you don’t then the queen will either leave or die and the colony will die. The band is an amazing band, I have met them all and find them so inspiring, lovely and kind. They are a progressive rock band but don’t let that put you off, such intelligent and beautiful people who sing about all sorts from Hedgerows, lees, butterflies, the lost rivers of London, mud larking, Winchester and the man who saved the cathedral when he used a diving suit to repair the flooded foundations to a tribute to the men who died digging the Severn tunnel and the unsung heroes of the the engine Mallard when it broke the world steam speed record… anyway this is “Telling the bees” by Big Big Train, sorry for the plug but my intention was to share this song (I have ADHD and I tend to get excited about a topic or go off on a tangent …sorry once again lol)
Take good care xx ❤

Missed you Vanessa, hope that you had a nice break with whatever you were doing. It’s good that you can take a break every once in a while and recharge your batteries, it must be quite intensive having to film and edit your videos and maintain your teaching commitments as well as your day to day things. Hope Mr M is well also and was able to take a break at the same time.
So gorgeous seeing Zeph with her ball, she really is a gorgeous and playful doggy … I really love seeing her. xx 🐶 🐕 🐕 xx ❤
7:13 what a lovely farm shop, it’s so nice that the owner can trust people, I just hope,to goodness that no one has ever or will, steal from it or be dishonest.
Well every day is a school day 😂 “gongoozler” … I think I may have heard of it in the distant past but never knew it was an actual word, apparently originated in the Lake District describing a bunch of busy body observers… 😂😂😂😂 Sad that they all, left when you went through the lock… ahh they don’t know what they missed, I wouldn’t have ignored you lol 😂 x
Isn’t that plant interesting how it grows in that gap? I think perhaps it may be getting nutrients from the iron to allow it to grow ?
Have t got to the end of the video yet so not sure what to expect. Hope you have a lovely week and hope that the weather stays nice for you xxx❤❤

It’s lovely hearing your conversations about so many wonderful nature elements. I get a lot of joy visualising such things later on. Sorry for mentioning my music again but they sing about all of these things, meadowlands, water meadows, beekeeping, butterflies, chalk hills, legends and heroes of old England, hedgerows, partridge nests, ladybirds. All good and wonderful things to think about, maybe nature is the very thing that will save us all, if we just stop to observe be mindful and then maybe we won’t destroy it. xx

The above is a beautiful song called Meadowlands and performed by the nicest bunch of musicians some of who I have met. xx
