@homelroy6590 It was the Orange Man who offered Federal Assistance to these "troubled" cities. Not only did the Democratic Mayors, and some Governor's, refuse the help, a couple of locations went out of their way to get court orders to forbid the Federal Presence. CHOP/CHAZ was NOT Trump's invention, nor does any right leaning cities have massive crime issues because they did NOT defund their police. It's a couple of years old now, but an FBI data source showed more homicides in Chicago were done with a hammer vs a firearm.

@max420thc I'll hold my breath (sarcasm). Remember, nearly two years after Trump was elected as President, the FBI released their internal investigation AND ADMITTED, that they (the FBI) under orders from the Obama administration, knowingly, willingly, without a warrant/court order, justification, or plausible cause spied on the Trump Campaign in the Trump Tower and reported everything back to the DNC. They admitted finding no wrong doing by the trump campaign. Even though they admitted their illegal operation in support of the DNC, not one person is known to ever have been reprimanded.

They (the left) claimed the Republicans in D.C. voted NO to give extra COVID money to Democratic lockdown cities (a bail out for failed policies) who lost revenue/tax dollars. And because of that they (Democratic ran cities) could no longer afford the Police they had. I guess they forgot all about the BLM/ANTIFA looting, arson, and assaults (the left supported) that drained the budget trough overtime and the Federal Law Enforcement/National Guard assistance they declined from Trump. But I couldn't help but notice, right after the election (when Biden was announced the winner) that same Democratic cities immediately unleashed the police and National Guard to clear the streets.
