  2. Supply and demand. People quit paying outrageous prices for a car the industry will quit making them or sell them for much less. Boomers $5 an hour was common. Today $20-$30 is common, those are skilled labor, like the auto makers that are charging outrageous prices of that car you're complaining costs to much. That $30k house may only be worth $39k today if in a different place.
