  2. Nope! They didn't know the U.S. would be leaving months ahead of time. They've been hearing for YEARS the U.S. would be leaving but the U.S. never did. Kinda like the story...A Boy Who Cried Wolf... after a while no one believes it. The Air Force vacated a major air field over night, never officially told the Afghans that their back door was now open and unguarded.
