@balthorpayne Since 2016 the vast majority of new gun owners are left leaning, people of color or women. That's per the FBI and ATF statistics. The vast majority of school or other public places are blamed on the radical right or conservatives and after weeks of investigation the story details just drop off the radar as they discover that most mass shootings are not from right leaning persons. Now please tell me how many mass shootings happen in gun free zones? And how many mass shootings happen in openly or obvious armed areas? Statistics and real math don't lie. There are pro gun first world countries in Europe with extremely low violence and near zero firearm related incidents for over a decade...so there is your starter model in how to curb violence. When no one has a gun, everyone is a target for violence and criminals world wide have proven they can still get a firearm if they want one. When everyone may have a gun most would be criminals think twice.
