Per a few news articles/outlets. Mexico is now listed as the number one exporter to the U.S. Meaning Mexico sends more commerce to the U.S. than even China does. Mexico will eventually have to choose.

Everyone is talking about the poor Palastilians. They lived there by choice, they have left for vacation, education, and jobs. They keep going back. Not one (muslim) country around them are willing to take in the Gaza refugees...not even the Palastilians in the West Bank. That speaks volumes. 2022 the UN took a poll in Gaza, over 90% of them still fully supported Hamas.

Walmart, the home of cheap Chinese goods. Ahhhh, yes, Americana!

He wasn't captured, so no, he wasn't a POW. AWOL, elevated to DESERTION.

Here's my question. What was France's and U.S. relationship in Niger before? Did they truly get along and see eye to eye? I ask this because though they are (NATO) Allied, the French President earlier this year asked to join BRICS and told other NATO countries to move away from working with the U.S.

So who crossed the line and attacked who in 1948, 1967, & 1973?
15
Not hard when your opponent is remedial.
13
Well they got rid of the high maintenance children & elderly, and Russia got their people back...guess that's all that matters to Hamas.
11
Yes, but.... Did the airbag deploy? And kids, this why you don't text and drive...er...fly(?)
10
After what they did, don't expect sympathy from humanity.
10
Yes but it wasn't a secret nor was it a weapon.

It never was cheap. A $1 billion aid package just this year, hundreds of millions of dollars to run that base and fly drones to protect Niger from terrorists. None of it is cheap. It would be cheaper to just pay what they ask and not help them or give them money.

Sides have been selected. Alliances made. All that is needed is a catalyst.
7
So the U.S. military did not move to a more defensible OPERATIONS post. Instead they moved to a more defensible EVACUATION post.
7
Historical backstory on that area. Back in the early days during the 'WAR ON DRUGS", U .S. Special Forces (and other agencies) were sent to Mexico to train Mexican Special Forces and Mexican State Drug Enforcement Agents. Late 80s early 90s. An ENTIRE unit of Mexican Special Forces deserted, took on contracts with the Cartel and provided security for the area and that route. Mexican Government loses a lot of security for es in that area ever since.

Per the Internet search results. The kind of heat necessary to transform sand into a liquid state (eventually becoming glass) is much hotter than any sunny day. To make sand melt, you need to heat it to roughly 1700°C (3090°F), which is approximately the same temperature a space shuttle reaches as it re-enters earth's atmosphere.
7
I doubt that, there will always be the covert route.
7
And the majority of those cities voted for that to happen...repeatedly.

For the last 50 years people have been allowed to leave Gaza for work, travel, and attend schools. But they keep returning. So not my concern why people who complain about being bombed every year are still there.
6
Why does The U.S. have such a big say so in Israeli business? The United States committed over $3.3 billion in foreign assistance to Israel in 2022, the most recent year for which data exists. About $8.8 million of that went toward the country's economy, while 99.7% of the aid went to the Israeli military In 2022, Israel spent $23.4bn on its military, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI),

Yep. Biden showed that Taliban, didn't he?

U S. having a fire sale on F-16s? Making room for new inventory?

Well they have Helicopter attack Flat tops, cruisers, frigates, and corvettes with a variety of missiles. So I don't know, what do you think they can do ? ************" Capabilities. The JMSDF has an official strength of 50,000 personnel, but presently numbers around 50,800 active personnel. As a result of continuing effective defense investment due to Japan's economic development and an end to the Cold War, the JMSDF became the world's fourth largest navy by total tonnage by 2000. ************

Life is like a box of chocolates... sometimes, even though it looks like a piece of chocolate, it really isn't.
5
Happens every conflict, by all sides.
5
Congratulations, you're getting what you wanted. Due to recruitment shortfalls the Army restructuring it's force for smaller units.
5
@ahmedadan5393 You didn't watch the video did you?
4
The US isn't going to lose three soldiers and nothing is going to happen? You sure? How about that Afghanistan departure thingy?
4
Yeaaaaaa...NO!
4
😂😂🤣🤣😅 that's a good one, you had me for a moment.
4
Gee. I couldn't imagine why.
4
Then give back that $1 billion aid package if it's not helping.
4
PALASTINE was already free. Maybe you should ask why absolutely no other Muslim country wants them.
4
Two days after the Hamas attack it was reported on the news that a second system was being moved to Jerusalem, Iron Beam (the new improved system) was being set up and three days after the attack Israel requested more Iron Dome munitions from the U.S. that got delivered.
4
Not one Muslim country wants to take Palastilians from Gaza into their country, not even on a temporary basis. Egypt deployed two armored Brigades to prevent them from going to Egypt. Jordan has threatened all out war if anyone tries to force them to take them. Even the Palastilians of the West Bank don't want them, their own people. So many refuse to rhink about that. The U.S. needs to counter pressure the other Muslim Countries for their part in this Humanitarian crisis.
4
Why did Israel attack the USS Liberty? Israel apologized for the attack, saying that the USS Liberty had been attacked in error after being mistaken for an Egyptian ship. Both the Israeli and U.S. governments conducted inquiries and issued reports that concluded the attack was a mistake due to Israeli confusion about the ship's identity.
4
Ukraine looking for volunteers, plenty of action waiting for you.
3
@bicker31 Even worse.
3
Boy, you really are clueless aren't you. U.S. doesn't need Niger uranium. U.S. doesn't need to stay out of it, because they already are and have been. And no one is talking about Africa, but one country in Africa.
3
@glazedonut7104 Because over half of them turn on you and nearly none of them are greatful.
3
@Cavebabyberserker I agree, and Africa can give back those billion dollar aid packages.
3
@Cavebabyberserker Who's yall? And for what?
3
Authorities already stated they are treating it like a terrorist attack.
3
Worst case scenario? Mass chemical and biological weapon use with nuclear use?
3
I believe they wanted something, but not necessarily what this is turning into.
3
So whose job is it to remove the pork related MREs?
3
Probably non Jews are, they're still worth money to their country.

The rise of the Islamic State group — its roots were in al-Qaida affiliates — and its expanding threat to the U.S. and allies across Europe sent the U.S. back into Iraq at the invitation of the Baghdad government in 2014.Mar 15, 2023
