  1. Here's my question. What was France's and U.S. relationship in Niger before? Did they truly get along and see eye to eye? I ask this because though they are (NATO) Allied, the French President earlier this year asked to join BRICS and told other NATO countries to move away from working with the U.S.

  3. I just completed some research. Article written in 2019 claims/stated. 1. The U.S. and French have and can call on each other for assistance, but it's informal and adhoc (no formal coordination or agreements. 2. They do not share intelligence as a rule. 3. They do not conduct joint operations. 4. There's no hierarchy/leadership to tie them together.
