  38. No he never called for defunding the police. He remained silent and smiled when his followers yelled it. He wants larger federal law enforcement while allowing states to destroy themselves by defunding their own departments. He never publicly said one way or the other while on campaign, he just allowed the dumb leftist voters to believe whatever they chose to believe and no one insisted on challenging him on it. The battle cry from the left was "it don't matter who, just vote blue", and this is what they selected.
