  1. Guess you already forgot how the new Mayor severely down sized the force by defunding them. They may be getting paid but there are far less of them being paid. Also the voted in prosecutor who known to be soft on certain criminals is a key factor as well.

  2. Well it's what they wanted. They voted in a Mayor who defunded the police and closed the jail used to hold violent criminals awaiting trial. And they voted in a prosecutor who is soft on certain criminals. 🤷 No coincidence in an increase in violent crime.
