  1. They won't just to make you feel better. In places like France and Japan elite Judoka are well looked after post retirement. Teddy Riner became a millionaire off the back of Judo. Why would he do MMA for a lesser amount of money.

  2. ​@chyngyzkushbakov2225 Not totally correct. Kano openly said he took Western wrestling moves and ideas and added them to Judo too e.g. Kata Guruma aka Fireman's lift was never found in JJJ. Kano learnt about it from a book on Western Wrestling.
