@ceceroxy2227 He got knocked out badly in SF. That's not a great example that pure sports BJJ helps you defend against strikes. IDK why people are trying to defend sports jits here by claiming it will work. It clearly didn't here. Yes it can be useful in some ways, but reality is Galvao got caught here. It's there for everyone to see. He should've seen it coming, it was a very heated argument. If that were a straight right instead of a slap Galvao could've ended up in A&E.

@funfun4807 Not in Judo sadly. If you are an active Judoka you cannot enter a comp like ADCC without IJF permission, which they never award. Even if it's between Olympics. You'd have to formally retire from Judo in order to compete.
