This is an actual thing though Sharpiro uses regularly. It's a cheap debating tactic known as a Gish Gallop , look it up. It basically involves saying so many different things, usually quickly, your opponent cannot respond because there have been too many different, often disparate and irrelevant, points made to offer a singular response. It can work against inexperienced people or say, a 19 year old kid asking a question from a lectern in a university hall. It doesn't work very well against intellectual people or people who can debate beyond a rudimentary level. Its why Sharpiro is often derided: He resorts to cheap High School debate tricks rather than offering genuine intellectual insight.
