I'm not that bothered though, I love that Joe talks about boxing but sometimes his knowledge isn't always on point and it can be frustrating listening to him talk about certain fighters. They need to get someone on who is a great boxing analyst to break it down; like George Foreman or Barry McGuigan or Paulie Malignaggi.

@alansjf33 You're mistaken. He's only 4 years younger than Wilder, and only 1 year younger than Fury! And there are some up and coming contenders who will be a lot fresher than Joshua. And boxing isn't about age per se, it's about how many miles a boxer has on the clock. Tough fights age a fighter more than time does. Joshua has already had 2 pretty brutal fights (Klitschko and Ruiz I) and some very tough battles too (Takam, Povetkin, Whyte). He's already got more miles on the clock than Fury (even with Fury abusing his body).

@alansjf33 Hey no worries it happens sometimes.

@dabbingsquidward5748 He likely won't be top league if he loses, but he has a huge fanbase especially in the UK. Even if he loses, he could still sell out any sports arena in the UK with a fight against Fury, Whyte or Wilder. He can still have a few more big money fights then call time on it.

@ac-phil276 Yeah there;s will still be money to be made. These fights will be easier to make if AJ loses again actually, as he won't have much choice.

He struggles if he can't close the distance though. Parker was able to keep him at range for a lot of their fight and Ruiz struggled. When Ruiz can dictate the distance it's a different story of course, but he is weak if someone is controlling the distance.

It's not a crazy suggestion, Ruiz struggles if he can't close the distance. Parker was able to keep him at range for a lot of their fight and Ruiz struggled. When Ruiz can dictate the distance it's a different story of course, but he is weak if someone is controlling the distance. The thing with Parker though is he has a good engine, he can fight for a full 12. Joshua has struggled a bit in the past with stamina and controlling his energy. In terms of his physicality, Joshua has the tools to keep on the outside and outbox Ruiz. In terms of stamina to implement that strategy, that's a different story. If Joshua hasn't worked on stamina he'll lose to Ruiz again for sure.

@judeokoye9466 He's only gone 12 rounds once before bud vs Parker. In that fight the ref kept stepping in and stopping the fight, so it was a very stop start sort of fight. Against Klitschko and Povekin and Ruiz, AJ was sucking in air early in the fight, meaning he was struggling with energy a bit. I think he has the ability to fight at a good pace for 12 rounds, he would just need to manage his energy and training better.
