  1. Libs and Cons are both as bad as each other when it comes to supporting science. Conservatives are happy to embrace science about things like gender, but denounce science as hokum/fake news when it comes to things like the climate or COVID-19. Liberals love science about the climate and COVID but put their ideology before science when it comes to things like gender and intelligence. A study from UoCI found that in the US, both Libs and Cons would only support academic research if it confirmed their bias. If it didn't, they would become skeptical of it: https://psmag.com/environment/who-is-more-anti-science-conservatives-or-liberals In other words, regardless of where on the political spectrum you fall, most people will ultimately put their ideology ahead of science when push comes to shove.

  3.  Iain Bailey  Annnndddd there's your own bias lol!! Not saying you are wrong with what you said, but you can give examples from the other side too. I don't understand Antifa though. I grew up in a country with actual extreme left wing terrorists. Antifa just seem like a bunch of spoilt brats acting out because their parents accidentally got them the iPhone 11 instead of the iPhone 11 Pro.

  4.  Iain Bailey  Again though, I can't take them that seriously. I've seen left wing terrorists detonate a bomb in a civilian population. They've held people I know at gun point while they staged an armed ambush against the army. They've attempted to blow up high level political leaders. It's nothing to be proud of, it's awful to witness but they were bonafide terrorist organisations. I just cannot take a bunch of wannabes with silly scarfs and pool cues smashing up stuff as an actual credible organisation or group(s). Antifa just seem like mostly spoilt kids who listen to too much RATM, most of whom seem like they've never had a romantic relationship in their lives, acting out in an antisocial way until their investment banker parents come and pick them up in their new 5 series. ETA, FARC or the INLA they are not.
