@zzz7zzz9 Yeah and you think people would've gotten a major wake up call in 2008 but no... here we are 12 years later and a lot of those same idiots are making the same mistakes.

@tylerdonaldson5 Financially he might not need it, but people get addicted to the buzz of performing. Let's be honest, it's been at least 10 years since Joe financially "needed" to do stand up comedy and yet he still chooses to do it regularly. Why? He's obviously getting an enjoyment or kick out of doing it that other things like sports commentary or podcasts aren't bringing him. He might "need it" for reasons other than financial. In fact, successful people often continue to do things well after they have made a ton of money. Money isn't their main driver.

Not just comedy clubs though... BJJ gyms, which is another passion of Joe's, are right at the top of the endangered list now. There isn't a sport in the world that is as tactile and contactual as BJJ. You think most people are going to be rushing back to sweat filled cuddle factories after lockdown eases? Most people won't want to put their health at risk and have to pay $200 a month for the privilege. A lot of BJJ clubs could close permanently.

Have any of you watched the agony people are in as they slowly die from this fucking thing? I have. It's awful. People talking about it like it's something on a fictional TV show. It's easy to be macho and talk about "sheeple" when you haven't seen this thing up close. It's like something from a horror movie. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, and anything that can be done to reduce it's spread should be.

@munchenonyou3774 And you know those are real human beings right? Not just a number on a screen or a spreadsheet. And if this thing goes unchecked or mismanaged, that number will aggressively shoot up.
