Problem was Lennox didn't turn pro until after winning Olympic Gold in 1988 in Seoul. Lennox turned Pro in 1989, and Mike Tyson was in jail 3 years later. By the time Lennox was in place for a title shot, Mike Tyson was half way through his prison sentence. After Tyson got out, he was never the same. Sure, he really went downhill by 2002, but if you read his biography you'd know that after he got out of jail he didn't really want to box any more and hated training. He just needed the money.

@shotgun517 Everyone fights nobodies their first 2 years as a boxer. You kind of undermine your own point by showing that Tyson did in fact avenge the loss to Tillman, so in his peak years it wasn't that much of a problem. Plus he beat Larry Holmes, who while past his peak, still had one of the greatest jabs of all time.
