In fact nobody knows how many we truly have. Not even our government will tell us. Plus people’s definitions of base vary. Anyways I’m done bragging and boasting.   16. Umm Japan and South Korea will always have American troops based there. They should be grateful. The only reason they are such successful nations in recent time is because of us Americans. We have been defending them for 80 years. We also have troops in the Philippines, Guam and Australia. With Hawaii also nearby and we won’t hesitate to protect Taiwan and have troops permanently there as well if China starts feeling frisky.
