Something interesting is that Germany was very close to winning WWI they won on the eastern front they just needed to win on the western front if they hadn’t got American involved and had the Austrians did a better job at doing the offensive and the ottomans maintaining a defense long enough to cause the Allies to take casualties war would have ended with a German victory.
