  1. So sky high energy bills and high petroleum prices causing the cost of living rise have got nothing to do with it? Interest rates have been raised to slow inflation, same thing Thatcher did when she came to power (26.5% inflation rate then....makes this look like a walk in the park). Interest rates haven't risen enough to cause this damage.
