@Carlin2810 I've paid into the system for over 40 years and hardly ever had a doctors appointment until last year when I got a rare autoimmune disease. I bet I've paid a damn sight more into it than you. So no one is dipping their hands into your pockets.

@Carlin2810 It's you who was calling for it to be privatised on an earlier thread. So you pay for dental care, we all do. All I can go on is my own interaction with the NHS. I was in stage 5 kidney failure thanks to the autoimmune disease I have. The MRI staff saved my life. Even with insurance I'd have ended up having to sell my house to pay my medical bills if it was private health care
