I believe there are good teachers in the world and they are those who have no difficulty compartmentalizing their personal/political beliefs and views from what they are teaching their students and they are not captured by the leftist idea that teaching is an activist role to promulgate a particular ideology.

I think the disconnect on the SI obese cover model between Glenn and Jordan is that Glenn is looking at impact on her as an individual whereas JP was using this as a vehicle to make a moral point, therefore i think he may have in the moment of doing the tweet overlooked the individual impact in favor of making what for him was the overwhelmingly more salient moral point....ie. that obesity is a health problem that leads to shorter lives and more co-morbidities.

  28. to push back a bit on JBP and Dr Woolridge I believe that diversity can be highly advantageous to companies, especially early stage startups in terms of cognitive diversity more than group identity diversity but that has advantages too.....coming at challenges from very diverse backgrounds and mindsets leads to synergies and unique solutions that otherwise if you have team of white male tech bro's who all went to stanford or MIT and grew up middle or upper middle class that would not be the case

That way your fans can get a little Peterson a couple times a week instead of facing a generational version of Sophie's Choice between the two simultaneously launched shows

  45. something that i find particularly insidious regarding YT demonetization is that after they demonetize a channel....YT still runs ads during uploaded content.....they just do not share the revenue wit the content providers. Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying pointed this out....they have been demonetized for several months on YT yet viewers still see ads during darkhorse podcast (i don't see them b/c I am YT Premium)
