I’m in my 60’s and film and processing wasn’t cheap in my childhood so I have few pictures. As an adult married to a narcissist, I was always the one who took the photos, so had few of me. In my 50’s, I was new to getting multiple photos and always looked awkward, but one learns. I could sympathize with Michelle for an awkward photo, but she is hardly a novice to being photographed, especially since she has had sessions with high end professional photographers who would have given her tips on how to look better. The sad flowers are a stark contrast to the high quality unique table. It’s a rather bizarre tableau, maybe in their own wine cellar taken by one of their staff. I would have never allowed my spouse to release that photo without requesting a retake. I have seen more warmth between 2 coworkers who aren’t friends greeting each other at a company meeting in a conference room.
