Left me feeling deep respect for the intellectual capacity of scientists, horror at the shaky foundations much of popular science is built on, and the human arrogance of the community Makes me like people like Lawerence Kraus or whatever even less. How come Rutherford doesn’t get the shine that guy had a lot of contributions in particle physics from what this book is saying but I hear newton Einstein all the time which is well earned and awesome but rarely him in popular expression or media.
