  16. I’ve come 180 on you guys. Can’t believe I use to dislike you this is some of the most real journalism you’ll find on YouTube. I was very much under the illusion of propaganda but trying to break out. It’s hard though it’s a complex complex world and you’re being lied to by very powerful , intelligent individuals and institutions. I’ve tried to prepare myself to absorb the pain that comes with cognitive dissonance and try to reason through the evidence knowing it’ll hurt but that it’s worth it to come out on the other side hopefully closer to a factual worldview.

  17. I use to be so against these guys and super ignorant and just washed in propaganda. Then I started educating myself and realized how wrong and stupid I was. It’s sobering these guys do amazing work but I know exactly how it feels to be against them… the propaganda is so real and effective. It’s really scary

  25.  @jamesryan4325  ya I really really didn’t know my history on nato and use to have a trust in media that has alll by been destroyed like completely destroyed. And I even once thought they were Russian affiliated I’m not a complete idiot. Ya know I’m a decent software engineer, studied philosophy, enjoy math and politics but just something about my media consumption and trust of the institution might have came from growing up in a non political household and relatively comfortable life and I’d consume a lot of the main stream media - so I was just propagandized effectively. It gives me a ton of pause now and I’ve moved some of my reading from ancient history to modern… and man, the us isn’t the nation i thought it was. I think we make the world less safe ! It’s like waking up from the matrix. And i remember how upset I would get at them and so I know how the brain washed side thinks and it’s like crawling out Plato’s cave

  61.  @jamesryan4325  what’s also challenging is that I am in no way a denier of human tragedy… acknowledging all crimes of humanity it’s part of what lead me to this journey but I gotta tell ya , I don’t trust anything come from our media or the narratives from an influential small society in the desert who I once trusted and the media they influence but there are many amazing scholars from that community who have told a more accurate and unfortunately depressing history that I’m now learning Norm F and Noam C have a couple of books I saw at Barnes and noble I grabbed. I just can’t believe how crazy that place is and all the crimes they’ve done. Definitely changes my view on Middle East politics and with no bigotry involved- something you are no accused of for asking for any accountability- I think a fair minded person could ask - what are you all doing to have so many others loathing you. The impact of free speech even in this country has had a direct and notable hit since this issue has exposed that government and its like my god this so called ally might be our greatest problem
