I don’t think most users care that much about a short loading screen and so to burden devs with all these paradigm shifts for the sake of some optimization and improvement of user experience (most users didn’t think was too horrible) it leaves you kind of feeling like you’re building the same thing (a better website for users) and just sort of transferring the cost for that to the dev. Sure there were annoying problems and managing state can be annoying but this will bring in its own set of confusing patterns and annoyances, even if well learned. And what’s next? It’ll be some paradigm shift in a few years to solve some “problem” , meanwhile users and managers could really give af

  10. Dev life. Study all the time. Mess up projects. Dunning Kruger when you get some under your belt. Start to love or hate it. Let’s say love it, thank god. Realize you know very little, but you know how to learn whatever, providing humble confidence and excitement about the liberty and opportunities. Refactor the “big” project you’ve been working on for x years. Make money , have a strange but fun title, move into a cookie cuter bland but kinda stylish apartment where the building looks amazing and your place like every other developer on YouTube. I should have created an only fans. I got my 6 pack back lol

And it’s not just that issue , being black myself I’ve seen the same ideological idiots devalue racism to where I don’t even take it at face value when I hear it And now with the war in Gaza … anti semitism is the latest that has just been abused And it’s extremely upsetting cause there are so many real cases of discrimination but it’s been so weaponized and used to get over that I can’t blame anyone for rolling their eyes when they hear it. It’s not just annoying but it’s often done by the most vitriolic toxic minded people And then the whole pronoun thing. That mess is crazy.
