  13. Just wanted to come back to this channel and say thanks. I’m 40 now and an over a year ago i wanted to start reading more but could just never stick with it and have been so inspired by this channel to do so. Then I had a near death experience and that woke me up lol. I’m proud to say for over a year since then I have read at least 3 books a month and probably will end the year around 40. 40 books in a year! For me! It’s completely changed my life and now comes second nature. It’s also helped my attention span where I can now chomp up two chapters any given sitting and rotate the books around (a tip I learned on this channel) Right now I’m reading an autobiography of J Haydn (I like classical music), surviving death by Leslie kean (super fascinating) and particle physics brick by brick. I soooooooooo wish I would have done this in my youth but am so excited to have found this beautiful path in life. It’s also made me a much better programmer and a tiny bit less susceptible to media propaganda and historical narratives. It’s open my eyes to philosophical ideas I’ve had but couldn’t develop and introduced me to concepts and points of view i would have never in a million years came up with All in all, I just wanted to say thank you. Your work is truly amazing for the youth and us (omg ugh I’ll say it) old people haha.

  20. This is so true. I’ve found walking and reading for a couple hours a day and then coding for at least four hours a day has helped me learn and progress at my own personal rate. It’s been very rewarding in so many ways.
