@chucklindenberg1093 Yes and the 11 gave quite eloquent example of that when we were able to hear people exploding on the floor and the journalist asking what was the sound placidly. I was a kid and my hearth going for a ride and I couldn't even believe that such question was just asked.
I am back to school to be a teacher and we are trained to remove ANY possible non neutral communication. Even saying "the nature created" can be seeking for troubles. We are required to have our face fully visible (so, long hair tied) when practicing so teacher can see our expressions clearly as we can only show expressions that serve the lesson. (You can of course smile to a pupil joke, but it can fire back if that joke is biased as your smile is an approval)
I know that, as with teachers, a lot of journalists are not trained an come from various background by necessity. But normally, that's the kind of training they go through.
If you listen to how they speak, you should notice they speak almost in the same way...as if it was part of the job ^^
It's just that actors have to do it at another level, so it's easier to catch them off guard. (they have to posses a character and do complex acting, so they are deemed to fail slightly)
To top it, there is a bias of representation, The few actors you saw that failed to conceal their real feeling did mark you more than all the other who were bland.
