  2.  @3choblast3r4  There is an easy workaround. You sell those long lasting glasses for a price a bit above the market. People will buy, because the promise of durability is enticing. Then you do new design every few years and special editions than you can over price like crazy. Now, people either keep their "old unfashionable glasses" or they buy the "new trendy ones".
