Rape didn't exists because it was accepted as a thing that happen life. Then "whites" named it as such. It's also the reason "whites" are forbidden to intervene in situations they are observing because the sole fact of naming something can change a culture and a population view on the world and their behavior. We like to say "everyone together in a diversity of cultures", well culture shape the understanding of the world and even what is permissible or moral. In some places, women were not allowed to drive and that was accepted. Different culture, different rules and morals. The bad is often already there, but in another culture, it's not considered as such. To keep to "whites", two century ago, child labor was totally fine. Today, culture evolved and child labor is unacceptable. It's hypocrisy to not admit one find rape unacceptable and saying it's the fault of the ones who put a name on it.
