  1. The bar will raise violently. Most programmers need to be more technically sound. They struggle to loop correctly over an array and get confused by deterministic flows... The AI is in a state where it will gladly solve whatever problem you throw at it (or at least it will quickly come to that) The magic is to show that this is the wrong problem to solve. There is an excellent comic about what customers think he wants, how he expresses it, how the developer understands it, how the developer thinks the customer wants it, and what the developer implements. It's closely related to how conscience works, and I doubt we will replicate this. General Artificial Intelligence is the greatest thing that can happen for devs; not all devs, but those who do the real job.
