  1.  @otothej2577  Or not. The transition to being sustained by AI could happen faster than previously thought. What could happen is that humanity will BE divided in casts. Those who can't really do things and will be kept busy with entertainment and those who have the mind to understand how AI work and complement AI. It may even become a cast which have to make a sacrifice by working, but which will be given some privileges in return. Could also be that the AI would find that it's better to enslave a few people who can work so that the joy of most people is maximized. Or, the AI could find out that the easiest way to maximize joy in people is to kidnap them and shove electrodes in their brain. Without concern for the perpetuity of the species. A joyful extinction.

  2. Could be useful for people with ASD and prosopagnosia. The AI could deliver live subtext, a sample of expected answers (possibly on a delay) and label people.

  3. The biggest issue with AI is that AI is not politically correct and merely rely on logic. Logic is very, very inconvenient in this day and age. Another issue is that AI is non discriminating, it does objective observation. And the more data it has access to, the closer to the truth it can get. It's why AI will be severely limited for the foreseeable future.
