  2. I was in an institution in a small village, so when we saw people on the street, we greeted. When we entered a building, we greeted everyone there. Same when someone enter, you greeted them. It was also common to engage on random things because people knew everyone. When I went to the city, I replicated the same thing and was looked at like an alien. And you could see people fearing I was deranged ^^ I quickly learned that I should maybe not start to say hello when entering somewhere neither in the street ^^ Older people appreciate it though and engage. Probably because it was the case in the city back then.
