  1. 9:54 That's NOT the point of ads. Today's point of ads is to give you a sense of familiarity. You are more prone to pick what is familiar to you. The other thing is association; ads will try to create an association between their product and some other value/emotion, like joy or prestige. You don't even need to understand what the product is for it to be effective.
